Recent advances in topologically robust waveguiding for electromagnetic systems have presented opportunities improving practical photonic and microwave devices. To bring this rich area of physics within the reach application, it is critical such to be interfaced with classical, continuous waveguiding, transmission line technology. This Letter presents a compact, highly efficient transition from classical metallic nontrivial wave emulating quantum spin Hall effect. A zero-gap antipodal slot used as starting line, which then coupled topological metasurface via field matching procedure. Additional modifications interface between two structures eliminate unwanted edge coupling improve further. simulated loss analysis isolates effect transitions rest structure, showing contribution only 2.1% per classical-to-topological conversion. Using transition, quantitative characterization robustness common protected devices presented. design lays foundation integrate lines traditional systems, opening door future uses systems.
